Positive: The 2nd evening a couple of staff at the restaurant redeemed for the previous evening's disaster....thanks to Pankaj Bhist n Anshuman. The staff at the spa were good and we enjoyed the therapy we had chosen. Also, liked the Makaibari tea session. Since we are birders...we enjoyed our birding sessions around the estate.

Negative: On the first evening the moment we entered the restaurant the Manager on Duty Kaustuv tried to upsell us a dinner even before we could sit....we had paid for a half board. Post that some horrendous food was served since they didn't have a buffet going on. They had issues with water...since we are early risers to enjoy our birding sessions...after numerous contacts a bucket of water was sent the room...ideally should have been the first resolution till the issue was fixed....didn't feel like a premium Taj property at all....and too during the festive season....I just felt the staff are ill trained....as have never had such an experience at other Taj properties.
