Summary: Room was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was well-stocked. Restaurant and room service prices were very reasonable. Food was very good and great serving sizes. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The pool area was a nice size for the property. There was quite a bit of work being done on the pool deck and surround balcony areas that caused some noise during the day - it wasn't horrible but it was slightly annoying. The adjoining public beach is lovely but is a significant walk (about 80+ stair-steps down) from the property - and you have to carry your chairs (provided by the hotel) down, which is a pain. I was offered the opportunity to attend the Vacation Club presentation but wasn't pressured. I opted for a pedicure at the spa. The spa is pretty basic - you have to walk through some uglier areas of the property to get to it and it's under a cabana outside. No running water, so the water for my foot bath was heated by an electric kettle. Not posh, but also not expensive. My first appointment was canceled due to rain since it was basically outside. There are some basic poolside activities. I would stay here again when looking for relaxing poolside days but probably wouldn't bring my 30-ish-year old kids or small children who might want more activities.
