Positive: This was my second time staying here, and overall the property itself is absolutely beautiful—especially in the spring. The flowers and garden areas are stunning and create such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It’s definitely a place that feels special and well cared for in terms of the grounds. That said, I did run into a couple of issues during both stays that I think are worth noting. On my first visit, we stayed in a king room near the bird cages, and the water pressure in the shower was quite low. During this most recent stay, we were in one of the rooms above the Americana House. Unfortunately, in the morning we had no water at all. Since we were checking out that day, this meant we weren’t able to shower, wash up, or get ready as planned. We ended up having to cancel the rest of our plans for the day so we could head home to take care of those basic needs. I truly love the beauty and charm of this property, and I would love to return again. With some attention to the water pressure and reliability, the experience would match how lovely the setting already is. The staff was very nice and I appreciate the gal who took my coffee order at Maison, as well as the front desk gentleman despite circumstances beyond their control
