Positive: Staying here felt like being immersed in Chettinad heritage. The restoration has been done with great care, preserving the character of a traditional mansion while offering the ease and sophistication of a modern stay. The property was pristine and beautifully maintained. The food was outstanding. Breakfasts were comforting and delicious, while the non-veg Chettinad lunch spread was a true highlight, authentic flavours brilliantly executed by Chef Radha. Excellent service at the restaurant, with special thanks to Sitthik for his detailed explanations of each dish. Heartfelt thanks to the Lotus Palace Manager, Kathiravan, for his warm hospitality and for sharing fascinating insights into the property’s history.

Negative: All was great. Water pressure can be improved.

Summary: A luxurious, authentic, and memorable Chettinad experience. Highly recommended.
