Positive: The chef and caretaker on-site were genuinely helpful and ensured we were comfortable. The food was excellent. The game room, was a good addition for group activities. The views from the main-floor balconies were beautiful (though these are accessible only through certain bedrooms).

Negative: Booking & Communication: We were asked to make the full payment immediately after reserving, and the booking process was extremely tedious. Basic queries were not answered despite repeated follow-ups — a stark contrast to the enthusiasm shown when collecting payment. The point of contact was quite rude, disconnected our call mid-conversation, and ignored further calls, which set a very poor tone before arrival. Access & Property Condition: The road leading to the property was damaged, and accessibility and parking were a major difficulty for us considering our vehicle. Only 3 of the 5 bedrooms have attached washrooms, while the other two rely on shared, dorm-style washrooms, which was not clearly mentioned. Most rooms felt stuffy with a very off-putting damp odour, especially the ones on the lower floor. Basic amenities like tea/coffee sachets were refused, which was surprising for a stay marketed as “luxury.”
