Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The pool and spa area were great, we spent a lot of time lounging there. The bed and bedding were super comfortable, the balcony was nice and the location was pretty good. The apartment had everything you need and was very clean.
Negative: I wouldn’t say this was a luxury apartment, just a standard apartment in a nice location really. The hot water ran out very quickly in the shower and the bathroom fan doesn’t seem to work much at all. The location was nice but not really “beachfront” like advertised, more river front and not really swimable with nowhere to lounge, more for water activities. The balcony had only one lounger so we couldn’t both relax on there at the same time. We paid $450 a night for a one bedroom apartment and though I know that accommodation is expensive in Noosa we really didn’t feel this accommodation was worth the price we paid. Lastly, we stayed for two nights and on our first day I was already receiving private texts outside of booking.com on how to check out and asking me to confirm when I would be checking out so the cleaner could come, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. I think it’s off-putting and guests should be trusted to check out by the stated time without having to receive various different messages about it beforehand.
Summary: Nice stay overall but wouldn’t call it luxury
