Summary: A small but beautiful vacation home in a nice area close to the beach. The owner was very friendly, we were his first tenants and he was somewhat concerned and struggling to actually hand over the keys. The house was completely renewed and there were still price tags attached to almost everything. We had a very nice holiday there! At the beginning, the wifi didn’t work properly but the owner immediately arranged for a new connection. During our stay we unfortunately discovered some damage to the front door frame. It looked like the door was forced from the outside. We discussed the same with the owner. We were glad that he didn’t blame us but of course he wasn’t happy with the damage. We left the house nice and tidy but when we came home it turned out that the owner did hold us liable for the damage to the door frame. Unfortunately, a substantial part of the deposit wasn’t reimbursed to us.
