GoSTOPS Lite Alleppey occupies vintage building with a vibrant history that is located in the culturally rich side of Alleppey.
The heritage building has been converted into an Art Hostel while preserving the ethnic character and the history of the building. At goSTOPS Lite Alleppey, you will see remnant characteristics of the building from when it was used as a radio studio, office of the DSP, a primary school and a store house for spices over different decades. The high raised wooden ceilings, intricate wood works and the amalgamation of Indo-Dutch architecture gives the place a unique charm. The property was renovated mostly using recycled materials and is maintained as an environmentally viable space.
The outdoor communal area in open to air faces the remnants of a 12 feet high wall which survived a fire many years ago. The space revolves around the concept of the fusion of art and travel and welcomes artists, backpackers and creative souls to co-exist under the same space.
