Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Toad Hall. There is truly no comparable accommodation in the area that is so central to Greyton activities, and can sleep this many people on one property (while still feeling like you're all together), with great facilities to boot. We stayed in early June (winter) so didn't use the pool but loved the hot tub and indoor fireplace. We were greeted by the super friendly and attentive manager Frans at the gate, helped with our bags and shown to our rooms. We opted to pay for Toad Hall staff to make pizzas for us in the property's pizza oven so we could relax and enjoy catching up in the beautiful garden - I recommend this! This is really a gem of a place. We loved the attention to detail with each themed room, toad-shaped chocolates on the bed, bright green froggy front entrance... all so cute and feels very much like a country escape without compromising on home comforts. It was extremely cold when we visited so we were glad for the electric blankets. Kitchen was well-equipped. The owner and manager were always available via Whatsapp and prompt in their replies. Great restaurants a stone's throw away - Hemel opposite and Abbey Rose.

Negative: I think this was just a one-off - but a few rooms didn't have hot water twice during the weekend as one geyser had been turned off. One message to the owner and we were grateful this was set right quickly. But an unexpected cold shower during an Overberg winter is not fun :)
