Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were extremely friendly and the home cooked food was really delicious. They made us very welcome and in the evening they lit a fire to sit around while they played disco music. A fun evening.

Negative: The suite with A/C was booked through Booking.com but the price was wrong. We were shown to a very basic room with no A/C which we didn’t accept as it wasn’t what was described on line. The manager realised the mistake and gave us the more expensive suite at the agreed price. If we had to pay the full price it certainly wouldn’t be worth the money. The shower was only cold water, hot water had to be taken using the bucket and jug. The A frame hut looked appealing with the swimming pool etc, but the reality was quite jaded. The owner needs to spend some money on improvements to the grounds and interiors to justify his asking price. This said we enjoyed our stay but only because of the wonderful staff and the food which was excellent.

Summary: Not as luxury as claimed but great staff and food.
