The Space: Ascend the front steps and the first thing you’ll find is a landing with leafy pot plants and an outdoor setting for two, the perfect place to relax with a morning newspaper. Continue into the house which features sleek, dark-stained wooden floorboards. The front bedroom has a double bed and French doors which open up to the landing. Down the hallway you’ll come to the first bathroom with stylish marble tiles and a full length bathtub with frameless glass and a shower combined. This ground floor level is also home to a beautifully decorated, open-plan kitchen/dining and living area with polished concrete flooring. The kitchen comes fully equipped with coffee making facilities, five-burner cooktop and under-bench electronic oven, dishwasher and Fisher & Paykel washing machine. A hand-crafted wooden herringbone dining table seats eight, with nearby bifold doors opening up to a leafy side garden with fairy lights that come on automatically at dusk, creating a magical ambience. The kitchen/dining area flows through to a living space with a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with soundbar. More bifold doors open up to a verdant cobblestoned garden which has been featured in ‘Better Homes & Gardens’ magazine; a perfectly charming oasis. It comes complete with a family-size barbecue which is connected to the mains gas so you never have to worry about refilling gas bottles. On the second level of the house you’ll find another bedroom with a queen sized bed and lots of cupboard space with floor-to-ceiling built in wardrobes. There’s also a cosy study nook with a window seat, a lovely place to read or meditate. An armchair converts to a single bed if needed, bringing the house’s total sleeping capacity to five. The bathroom on this level features the same stylish marble tiles as the one downstairs, along with a large shower recess with frameless glass The Neighborhood: Defined by its organic food scene, creative arts culture and local watering holes, historic Rozelle is just four kilometers west of Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) and bordered by glittering bays. A highlight is Rozelle Markets, just a few minute’s walk from the house, and buzzing with bric-a-brac and food vendors every weekend. Getting Around: Although parking it restricted to two hours on the street, a parking permit for one car is available upon application. Alternatively, the house is conveniently situated for public transport, with several regular bus services available on nearby Victoria Road which will take you into Sydney’s CBD in ten minutes. Other Things to Note: * An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site. * Have you got a baby or an infant traveling with you? We're happy to arrange the hire and delivery of baby items, subject to availability, with excellent package rates for two or more items.
