Summary: I booked Ashby Manor House in early March for a short trip to attend a wedding with my partner. Liesl reached out when I made our reservation, offering a ride from the airport and suggestions for tourist excursions. We arranged a car through her to and from the airport, and I strongly recommend it. Our stay in Cape Town was brief, but whenever I needed anything, help came immediately. The room was also very clean and comfortable. The location is safe and close to dining options, some of which are right on the beach. Getting downtown is easy through Uber or a driver, with arrangements with Liesl. The staff was kind and went out of their way to accommodate us. For instance, we arrived early, and they rushed to prepare our room. As we departed, we were allowed to store our items safely after checking out that morning and shower before heading to the airport. We had a 20 hour journey, so I can overstate how grateful we were for the opportunity to shower and rest upon arrival and before our departure. If I return to Cape Town, I will book Ashby again.
