Welcome to the summer idyll Yxlan in Stockholm's beautiful archipelago. You can get here by car ferry from Furusund which only takes a few minutes or there is the opportunity to go here with your own boat as the owner has a berth about 500 m from the house. This nice cottage is secluded up on a hill surrounded by forest and greenery. Here you can really find peace with proximity to beautiful nature and lovely baths. The house houses a living room with a comfortable sofa group, fireplace and partially open floor plan between kitchen and living room. There are two bedrooms, master bedroom with double bed and in the other room there is a bed that is 140 cm. In this house there is a combustion toilet and sink, as well as a shower in adjacent rooms. At the back of the house with its own entrance, there is another room with a single bed 105 cm. There is also an outhouse here. The guest house with double bed is located across the lawn. On the terraces or in the beautiful glazed annex you can enjoy cozy barbecue dinners during lovely summer evenings. Here at Yxlan you live in a nice archipelago environment with many bathing places and experiences Start the day with a short walk down to the sea for a refreshing dip or go to Köpmanholm where the ferry docks. There is a kiosk that holds the essentials. Here you can also eat and drink something lighter or you can take the ferry that goes several times an hour over to the neighboring island of Blidö. At Blidö there is a shop, bakery, church, medical center. Here you can also play paddle, mini golf and go to flea markets. Just outside Blidö is Norröra where Saltkråkan was recorded, one of Astrid Lindgren's famous works. If you want to enjoy a good bite to eat, you can do it at Blidö Brygga and Bistro which some evenings also have entertainment, or why not take the ferry the other way, to Furusund's inn. If you want more experiences and feel the pulse of the big city, you can also go into Stockholm with Vaxholmsbolaget's tour boats that run shuttle services to and from Stockholm and to other islands in the archipelago.
